Get Connected
"May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God." -Romans 15:5-7

Membership
The church is not the place you go on Sunday. It is a people made holy by God and bound together as one family by the blood of Jesus Christ (Eph. 5:25, Heb. 2:11). As one unified body with Christ as our head, we joyfully gather to worship and serve Jesus Christ and to encourage one another in love and service (Heb. 10:23-25).
As a member, you do not commit simply to coming regularly. You commit yourself to the leaders and members of the church in gathering together, prayer, and service, as do we to you. You declare that it is with this body of believers that you will testify to the glory of God our Savior.
If you agree with the Biblical faith of this church and would like to move from friend to family member, we offer New Member classes every Fall, Winter, and Spring. In order for you to have a better understanding of First Baptist Church of Norco, you'll learn more about our beliefs and practices. We also want to know more about you! You'll get to share your testimony of how you came to know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior as we study the Gospel together.
After you complete the class and sign our church covenant, several of our leaders will get to have lunch with you to get to know you better. During this time, they'll get to hear how Christ drew you to His grace and confirm that you have a good understanding of the Gospel and church membership. This will also be an opportunity to answer any of your questions and for you to further connect at First Baptist Church of Norco.
New Members are also expected to attend our KLS Gospel Class.
Baptism
If you have not yet been baptized as a believer, this is required of all members. Baptism in no way whatsoever contributes to your salvation by faith in Jesus Christ, but is still a commandment for all Christians (Matt. 28:19, Col. 2:12). We are baptized as an expression of our faith to declare that we are united with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection (Rom. 6:3-4).
Small Groups
Small Groups are a major source of community at First Baptist Church of Norco. During the week in the company of our family, we study the Bible together, support each other, serve together, and grow in the Lord together. Every church member should find a Small Group near them and get connected with the family more intentionally. Find a Small Group here!
