Youth

"And so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled. Likewise, urge the younger men to be self-controlled." -Titus 2:4-6

FBCN's youth program, led by Brandon Burns, is one devoted to exposing students to the gospel, developing relationships that encourage them to grow in their faith, and providing a context where students can engage with other students. We desire students to not only have fun with one another, but to press each other to a deeper devotion to Christ. FBCN understands that it is a major responsibility to teach students, and we seek to take each opportunity seriously.

Sunday School

Every Sunday the students meet to study the Bible in the Youth Building from 10:15am to 11:15am. Sunday mornings have been spent studying and understanding the parables of Jesus Christ.

Youth Night

This mid-week Bible study is every Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. This time includes studying and praying together, meeting with an adult youth worker that holds the student accountable to spiritual goals they set for themselves, and finishing the evening with a game or two. They go through various Biblical topics that help young people address issues they may face concerning the Christian faith. These topics include prayer, evangelism, fellowship, living out the Christian faith, and currently studying the Jesus Christ: Fully God, Fully Man all the time!
